The Challenge

CIBC needed to solve the alert center. A way to communicate important messages to users in real time to improve the experience with the bank. Stats of the current message center usage was extremely low.

The Solution

Design an in-house global messaging, on Desktop and Mobile app, based on data research with companies like Forrester and Google.

The Process

It consisted in an agile UX prototyping on bi-weekly iterations.

Explored different approaches, while creating user stories, and testing what was being proposed.

The Outcomes

While working at CIBC, and launched the Global Alerts program:

  • #1 on Surviscor ratings in 2017 for best online banking.
  • Global Alerts was featured on the best of the year releases.
